Corbin High School Softball Center
About the facilities...
7 years ago the Corbin Lady Redhounds moved into their new softball field home on the campus of Corbin High School.
Before then they played their games at Miller Park.
What was once just a dream for the girls soon became a reality. Taking 2 years to build, the facilities were built with a lot of help from parents, fans, and support from the community.
The facility countains a covered bleacher area with chairback seats. Dugouts with storage areas. Batting Cage and Bull pen. Concession stand with bathrooms, coaches office, player locker room, and umpires changing room. The field is well lit using a Musco Lighting system.
The Lady Redhound Softball Team played their first season on the the new field in 2003.
Directions from I-75:
Take exit #25 and turn east toward Corbin. Go 2.2 miles and look for the Welcome to Corbin High School Sign on the right side of the road. Turn right at the sign onto Snyder Street and go past the high school to the stop sign. Go straight, field is 100 yards on your right.
